This is a classic Jim Smith book. It is a great, hilarious book. Barry’s mum embarrasses him enough just being his mum, but now she’s won Feeko’s Supermarket competition, now its got worse for Barry. Barry has a pet snail called Snailypoos, yup Snailypoos. Jim has written four Barry Loser books, including the world book day special edition.This is a classic Jim Smith book. It is a great, hilarious book. I recommend this book for seven and older, but its quite an easy read. they have about 315 pages. The one I am doing is the first one. It is about Barry and how he tells chapters of nonsense, he talks about cupboard eyes and visualizes cherry flavoured puddles, daily poo snowball, detective mum and a bunch of epic things.
