This book is all about a Hamster called Humphrey, who is a classroom pet. The story is about his adventures, both at school and when he goes home with a different pupil each weekend. Sometimes I feel just like some of the children he describes. The teachers have to learn a lot and the school cleaner is really funny. No one understands his squeaks, but Humphrey is really good at solving problems and making sure everyone is happy. He’s always keen to help and he has lots of fun-fun-fun. This is a brilliant book, I recommend it to everyone. (And if you enjoy it there are lots more books to read in the Humphrey series.)
