When a descendant of the Snoddle-Brittles dies, it looks like the large house and small fortune will go to Fulton and Frieda Snoddle-Brittle. However, it is soon discovered that the house and fortune actually belong to a young orphan, Oliver Smith a distant relative of the Snoddle-Brittles.

So Fulton cooks up a plan, to somehow kill or harm Oliver so that he will get the house and fortune instead!

To make this plan work, Fulton calls up some super scary ghosts! But there is a mix up at the ghost agency and Oliver finds the friendly Wilkinson ghosts instead, who help him to defeat Fulton and Frieda Snoddle-Brittle!
