It’s World War One and James Bigglesworth is watching the snow fall outside the officer’s mess hut. His Sopwith Camel plane getting camouflaged. Then Henry/The professor walked in. Biggles said that it was time for a flight, so they walked outside, to their planes and met Algy. So they all got into their Camels and took off! They had been airborne for quite a bit, until a fleet of German planes came CARRERING in front of them!

So the fight had begun…

Henry had a German Bomber on his tail, but it shot him down…

I love this book because it is the first Historical Fiction book I have read, and it is also really interesting because you get to learn all about the different planes that they had in WW1!!
