Mango Allsorts is a little girl who is great at most things. It was Wednesday, and Mango was about to cross a zebra crossing, when she noticed that there was a lump in the road, then she noticed a traffic jam. It turned out that the lump was Bambang, an Asian Tapir. Soon Mango and Bambang became best friends. But when Mango took Bambang to the pool, they swam for a bit, then Bambang ran away!! Then a boy named George helps Mango to find Bambang.
Bambang likes hats. He has a hat for when he is feeling silly, thoughtful, party hat, a comforting hat, and a brave hat. Bambang put on his brave hat, and went out into the lobby to play. But he got Tapirnapped (my word for kidnapping a Tapir) by Dr Cynthia Prickle-Posset!
This is literally one of the BEST books ever written on this planet EVER!!!! Because it is sooooooooooooooooooo funny and I love the illustrations. Polly (words) and Clara (pictures) have done an AAAAAMMMMAAAAAAZZZZZZIIIIINNNNNNGGGGGGGGG job!!!!!!! Can’t wait for the next one!!!!!
