Murder on the Orient Express – Agatha Christie. Reviewed by Mango Bubbles Boy (10)

Hercule Poirot is on the famous Orient Express, on his way to London for a case. Hercule Poirot is a detective, a small man, with a curly, slick black moustache. But there is a murder on the Orient Express (hence the title). Monsieur Simon Rachett lies murdered in his compartment stabbed 12 times. Who dunnit? Was it Edward Masterman  (Rachett’s valet), or Antonio Foscarelli (the Italian), Hector MacQueen (Rachett’s secretary), Hildegarde Schmidt (a maid), Greta Ohlsson (a maid), Mary Debenham (a snoby English woman) or someone else…

THIS BOOK IS AMAZING!!!!! It has drama, mystery, adventure, getting stuck on a train, in the scene of a murder!

It was written in 1934 so may have old fashioned concepts, but it is still awesome!!!!! Agatha Christie
