Christopher Boone is a 15-year-old boy with a photographic memory. He knows all the countries of the world, and every prime number up to 7,507.
Christopher finds his neighbour’s dog – Wellington – lying dead on the lawn, with a garden fork poking out of him.
He comes to the conclusion that he is going to track down the murderer, and write a murder mystery about it.
This is a great book, because it had me thinking. It is also quirky, all the chapter numbers are prime numbers!
WARNING: This book is inappropriate for younger readers, it has swearing and some more adult scenes and words.
