This book is 9 short stories which are not connected except for the characters. The characters are Moomin troll (the main character), Snork maiden (a girl who loves Moonim troll), Little My (a naughty little girl with a sense of adventure), and Snufkin (my favourite character, we both like fishing, being in the outdoors and the harmonica). I recommend this book to 5-11 year old’s.

I like the Moonims because they are funny little things that look a bit like hippos, and the tales are very adventurous and sometimes funny. The Fillyjonk who believes in Disasters is a good chapter because she is scared of storms and keeps expecting something terrible to happen.

I like how the Moonins live in a lush green valley and have unexpected adventures.
