The School for Good and Evil – Soman Chainani. Reviewed by Elodie (10)

Gavaldon is a normal village apart from two things: people from Gavaldon are set apart from the outside world by a mysterious wood that goes on forever… and also every four years at exactly the same time two children are kidnapped and taken to The School for Good and Evil. Sophie is a blonde-haired girl and as well as wishing to be a princess she looks like one too, she dreams of being taken to The School for Good. Her best friend Agatha is pretty much the opposite. She has raven black hair and lives in a graveyard.

When they do get taken things don’t go to Sophie’s plan. How will she survive a day with evil villains didn’t they know she was good?

It’s a really exciting book and remember sometimes the princess and the witch don’t look like they do in fairytales!
