Alex Rider is a pacy novel about a daring spy on his first assignment for MI6. Alex gets whisked off to Cornwall to look at a suspicious man called Herod Sayle. It is exciting as Alex gets into a lot of trouble as they discover that he works for MI6!

Anthony Horowitz does lots of research before writing these books.He describes the type of gun the person is holding,the type of jet the person is flying and the type of engine the car has.

I recommend this book to 10-11 years old as the violence can get a bit much!
