I think that this is one of my favourite books of all time as it is so gripping and exciting. Just as you think you have solved the case another clue pops up to make you question your thoughts over the culprit.

The story is about a girl who works at a magnificent shop in central London called ‘Sinclairs’. When a costly famous clockwork sparrow is stolen Sophie, the shop girl, is determined to solve the case with her trustworthy friends, even after she is ‘framed’ and therefore, sacked from her job.

Who is the culprit? And is everyone that is ‘good’ really ‘good’?
