This book is about four children who go on a picnic in the woods. They meet a creature called ‘It’ who grants wishes. The children are each granted a wish that lasts for one day and ends at sunset.

However, the children’s wishes didn’t always turn out as they had hoped!
I like this book because it taught me to be careful what I wish for.
