This book is a real life diary about a girl called Flossie Albright and her experiences of WW2. She lives in Dorset with her Dad, Baby brother Boo and her Uncle, Colin. Her dad goes to war so she is left with her Uncle and her cousins in London to help her through war. Can Flossie keep a brave face as war takes its toll?
I recommend this book for anyone who is interested in learning about people’s personal lives during the War. I loved the book because it has pop-out letters from her dad and you can flick to any page to read it rather than having to read from a certain page each time.
