What is it about? This book contains many short biographies about female heroes from all around the world, from Elizabeth I to Serena Williams. It describes part of their life and then why they are so significant and important. With each biography there is a beautiful picture of the women.

Why do I recommend this book? I loved this book from the start. It is the perfect book to read before bed and I just couldn’t put it down. Who would I recommend it to? Particularly 10-13, but all ages could enjoy this book.

This book is definitely a must read!
