This book is about a girl called Ethel who has spots. In order to remove them, she uses every medicine there is but none of them work. One day, she gets an old sunbed from a closing down tanning shop to see if it cures her spots. It does, but it also makes her invisible.

I would recommend this book for those who enjoy adventure and enjoyed Ross Welford’s first book, Time Travelling with a Hamster.
