A Change is Gonna Come, is an amazing book, about social issues, like racism, terrorism, islamophobia, etc. There are 12 stories or poems, all written by Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic authors. These stories are very inspiratrional, and give us an insight into other people’s lives. For example, I didn’t know, what it is like to be discriminated against, because of my religion, but now, after reading this book, I feel that I know a little more. And can educate people, on how it makes people feel, so that together, we can stop islamophobia and racism, and things like that.

It speaks of diversity, of LGBTQ+ rights, learning to live with OCD and bereavment.

I am also very fond of the cover artwork, it is by Lucy Banaji.
