A Monster Calls is a fantastic book which I would recommend to any reader over about 11. It is very emotional and deals with a very sad but important topic.

The book at first seems confusing but the further you read on, the more it unfolds and makes sense.

I would highly advise for any avid reader to give this book a try, it’s worth sticking with it! Overall it is a very good storyline and beside the main topics covered , bullying, divorce and loneliness are also well covered.
