Quidditch Through the Ages – JK Rowling. Reviewed by Jade the Zebra (age 11)

Prepare to be amazed by the history and development of a wizards favourite sport – Quidditch! This informative and interesting book explains everything from common quidditch fouls, to the racing broom market and teaches you many new moves to learn about. Great background reading on the wizarding world and if you enjoyed the Harry Potter novels you will love this book. It includes a lot of facts but also has a great sense of humour to make it more interesting and some very amusing names of quidditch teams as well.

I recommend this book for slightly older readers (10-13) as the sense of humour is quite mature and it includes some slightly harder vocabulary.

This book also has some pictures and diagrams so you can see for yourself what equipment they use and some of the magical creatures involved
