Giant – Kate Scott. Reviewed by Mango Bubbles Boy (11)

Anzo is short. Abnormally short. So short, that he was cast as all seven dwarves in the school play. So short that he is taunted, and called peanut. In case you didn’t know Anzo means ‘giant’ in ancient German. He also lives in a household full of giants. His mum, his dad, both his uncles, all tall. Anzo is the odd one out.

But when Anzo gets runner up in a comic competition, his best friend Elise is determined to make his family notice. But how?

This is a very nice, heartwarming book, about being yourself, and accepting who you are. Thank you Kate and Piccadilly Press for sending this!
